Rauhaniemi Folk spa- Public Sauna offers to its visitors the most atmospheric sauna experience and stunning views across Näsijärvi. This spa is very dear to residents of Tampere, and locals sometimes call the place fondly “Rauhis”. Nowadays Rauhis is also a very popular tourist spot, offering traditional Finnish experiences to people from all over the world. Rauhaniemi has two traditional Finnish saunas: the bigger or the smaller one. The saunas are gender neutral, and an appropriate swimwear is required. The saunas are open every day of the year and in the winter you can go ice swimming. During summer Rauhaniemi is one of Tampere’s most popular beaches.

Rauhaniemi spa’s saunas are warm every day of the year. You might want to visit the sauna after a beach day or maybe after a refreshing run straight from a jogging trail. Ticket includes two saunas: hotter one and the milder one.

SUP-boarding

Rent a SUP board from the ticket office and spend a relaxing day on the lake. Rentals are possible during the summer season when the sauna is open. The price is 15 €/hour.

Hole in the ice and beach

Rauhaniemi offers ice swimming experience at the winter. The ice hole is open around the clock so you can do ice swimming also at outside of the opening hours.

Welcome to the bonfire!

Please consider that Rauhaniemi closes every day at 22.30, and by that time dressing rooms should also be empty. Please leave the sauna with enough time left to shower and to get dressed before the closing time.
